Eating Monster Brains

These were fun to make and eat.....well I didn't help much in making them but you can bet I helped make them disappear.  I'm not going to take credit for this treat, it was the wife's idea.

These are the items needed, you can use your choice of flavors.

Go crazy when making your own monster faces on the cups.

First step it to make the pudding, just follow the instructions on the box, they vary depending on the one you buy. Next fill the cups (oh yeah using clear cups is best) about 3/4 of the way.

Crush up your cookies (oreos in our case) in what ever fun way you want.

 

Last sprinkle some crushed cookies on top and that's it you done.

Those are my little monsters feet.

"Repairing Halloween"

The other day we were taking out the Halloween decorations we had our first casualty, one of our pumpkins did not survive the year long storage and was found shattered in pieces. Of course my wife’s answer was, oh just throw it away, I said nope! I’ll fix it. So I gathered all the pieces and got to work.

 These were all the decent pieces that I could find, all the rest had turned into dust.

 I also had to recreate one of his eyes as the pieces were to far gone.

Here he is all put back together, I would give all those kings horses and all those kings men a run for their money.

And Here with the first coats of paint, went with a bit more natural color.

Well another Halloween is here and tomorrow it will be gone I still can’t come to terms how time just fly’s by,  at one point I was planning on what to write about and now here I am writing the last post of this wonderful month of Halloween.  I would like to thank the people at countdowntohalloween.com for this and I look forward to seeing y’all next year.  

And Now the Great Pumpkin,

I do wish I had a lot more to write about, but we had our hands full this month and it was crazy but such is life and that just gives me more of an incentive to do better next year. I want to say thanks to all that stopped by to read about my crazy fun little family. If you enjoyed some of what you read come back from time to time I will be posting the rest of this holiday season and who knows what I will write about.
